Tragedy on Mount Second Zhandarm

Another tragedy occurred on the slopes of Mount Second Zhandarm in the Svidovec massif, where a man from Kyiv died. The leader of the tourist group requested assistance from rescuers when it became known that a tourist from Kyiv fell from a snow cornice due to poor visibility and fog. The injuries sustained were fatal.

Due to icy slopes, other group members could not reach the deceased tourist by themselves and were waiting for the rescuers to arrive.

This news indicates the danger that mountains can conceal and the importance of adhering to rules and caution during travels in mountainous areas.
