The richest refugee in the world. How much money Assad took to Russia.

Bashar Assad, the dictator of Syria, along with his family, fled to Moscow. According to reports from Türkiye Gazetesi, he took with him assets worth $135 billion.
According to the publication, Assad has already been dubbed 'the richest refugee in the world'.
The article mentions that the origin and purpose of these $135 billion have become one of the questions that interest the international community. The publication notes that it is still unknown whether legal issues regarding this property will be raised.
As a reminder, a revolution took place in Syria: the rebels captured the capital of the country - Damascus, and announced the overthrow of Bashar Assad's regime, which had been in power for over 25 years.
Russian media, citing a source in the Kremlin, report that Assad is already in Moscow with his family and has received asylum from Russia.
Moreover, during the escape from Damascus, there were reports about the disappearance of the radar signal of the Il-76T aircraft carrying the dictator, possibly due to being shot down or an aviation accident. According to available data, Russia used this misinformation to cover up the operation to rescue the Syrian leader and his close associates.
