Energoatom named the number of ZNPP employees who betrayed Ukraine.

During the war, the personnel of the state company 'Energoatom' decreased by five thousand people. Three thousand of these individuals signed contracts with 'Rosatom' and remained at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, while another two thousand left the country. This was stated by the head of 'Energoatom', Petro Kotin, in an interview with the TV channel 'We are Ukraine'.
'There are three thousand people who betrayed Ukraine, having effectively signed contracts with 'Rosatom' and remained at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Other people, about two thousand people, have left Ukraine and are currently abroad,' Petro Kotin said.
At the same Time, the head of 'Energoatom' stated that another five thousand ZNPP employees left for the territory controlled by Ukraine and were transferred to other nuclear power plants or to other divisions of the company.
Kotin also added that another thousand nuclear workers joined the military service.
It should be noted that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) recorded loud explosions near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. This was reported by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi. The support and assistance mission team of the IAEA heard two explosions around 12:45 and 15:45 and also several gunfire shots. These incidents did not affect the equipment and workers of the ZNPP.
Earlier, Ukraine's Minister of Energy Herman Haluschenko stated that the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP is becoming increasingly dangerous due to constant interruptions in external electricity supply.
It should be noted that the IAEA recommends not to start the reactors of the Zaporizhzhia NPP while the war continues.
