As of the morning of Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of the Russian occupiers.
Losses of Russia in the war as of May 20, 2025
Currently, the Russian Federation has lost in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel - about 975800 (+1030) people;
- tanks - 10834 (+1) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 22567 (+5) units;
- artillery systems - 28067 (+58) units;
- MLRS - 1388 (+1) units;
- air defense systems - 1167 (+0) units;
- aircraft - 372 (+0) units;
- helicopters - 336 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 36621 (+118);
- cruise missiles - 3197 (+0);
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units;
- submarines - 1 (+0) units;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 48093 (+105) units;
- special equipment - 3894 (+2).
Enemy fleet activity as of May 20
- There are no enemy ships in the Black Sea;
- There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships, one of which is carrying Kalibr cruise missiles with a total launch capacity of up to eight missiles.
Within a day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following passed through the Strait of Kerch:
- to the Black Sea - five vessels, of which three continued moving towards the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - six vessels, two of which were moving from the Bosporus Strait.
The 1182nd day of full-scale war in Ukraine continues.
