Ukraine accused of blocking dialogue
The press service of the Russian president stated that Ukraine refused to participate in the second round of negotiations in Istanbul. Vladimir Putin's spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, said that Kyiv is blocking dialogue.
'You know that we proposed to meet again in Istanbul on Monday for the second round. So far, as far as I know, no response has been received,' Peskov stated.
No plans for a meeting between Putin and Trump
The spokesperson also reported that a new meeting between Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump is not currently planned after the negotiations in Istanbul. Earlier, Trump set a deadline for ending the war.
Russia accused Ukraine of refusing to meet in Istanbul and announced the lack of plans for new negotiations between Putin and Trump. The Kremlin expressed outrage over the blocking of dialogue, while international relations remain tense.
