Russian special services have discovered a new cunning way of operating by posing as 'SBU officers' and issuing criminal tasks in favor of Ukraine. This tactic has become much more widespread lately, and the SBU urges citizens to be cautious and not to respond to provocations.
The new recruitment method involves sending citizens messages about a 'summons' for interrogation by the SBU due to a fake criminal case. They usually try to entice the purchase of 'banned goods in Ukraine'.
During such meetings, the 'curators' attempt to install malicious software on the victim's devices. The SBU encourages anyone who finds themselves in such a situation to report it to the relevant authorities.
