A minibus with Ukrainian citizens crashed in Poland
In Poland, near Poznan, an accident occurred on the evening of July 30, resulting in the crash of a minibus carrying Ukrainian citizens. This was reported by the Polish publication Fakt.pl. According to Polish media, the cause of the accident was the driver's negligence who crashed into the rear of a truck. The driver died, and six passengers were injured, two of them in serious condition.
"Many services were working at the scene. Some of the injured were trapped in the crushed vehicle, and it took the help of firefighters to free them. Many ambulances were involved, and a rescue helicopter landed," the publication writes.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine commented on this situation for Channel 24. They reported that the accident occurred on the evening of July 30 on the A2 highway near Poznan, where construction work on a lane is ongoing. The Fiat Ducato minibus registered in Ukraine collided with the rear of a truck. There were 7 Ukrainian citizens in the bus. The driver died at the scene, and 6 passengers were hospitalized with various injuries, but their condition is stable, the MFA press service reported.
In connection with the accident, a criminal case has been initiated, which is under the control of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Wroclaw.
