Ukrainians are increasingly switching to electric vehicles: the most popular models of March named.


According to 'Ukravtoprom', in March 2025, 4680 electric cars (BEV) were registered in Ukraine. This is 6% more than last year and 4% more than in February of this year.
Overall, among new registrations, the majority are passenger electric cars - 4532 units. Of these, 647 were new, and 3885 were used. The remainder includes commercial electric vehicles, among which only 7 cars are new.
The leader among new electric cars in terms of registrations in March was BYD Song Plus with 100 units. Also, among the TOP-5 were Volkswagen ID.Unyx with 96 units, Zeekr 001 with 69 units, Zeekr 7X with 59 units, and Audi Q4 e-tron with 45 units.
The most popular among used electric cars that were registered in Ukraine for the first Time was the Tesla Model Y with 448 registrations. The TOP-5 also included Nissan Leaf with 445 units, Tesla Model 3 with 410 units, Hyundai Kona with 273 units, and KIA Niro with 270 units.
In the first quarter of 2025, Ukraine's vehicle fleet grew by more than 12.8 thousand electric cars, which is 8% more than in the first quarter of 2024. However, the number of new cars decreased by 26% (1978 units), while the number of used cars increased by 18% (10,827 cars).
