Ukrainians have been shown gas and electricity tariffs from April 1: what to expect in the bills.

Gas and electricity prices will remain unchanged
From April 1, Ukrainians will not observe any changes in gas and electricity tariffs. Naftogaz customers will continue to pay 7.96 UAH per cubic meter of gas, and the price of electricity will remain at 4.32 UAH per kWh.
This was reported by OBOZ.UA, citing government sources. Tariffs for utilities are likely to remain unchanged until 2025.
According to sources, even an increase in electricity tariffs is not being considered. The current tariff already covers the costs of generation and supply of electricity.
However, the issue of gas reserves remains relevant. Ukraine is forced to increase gas imports after part of the gas infrastructure was damaged by Russian strikes.
Regardless of this, an increase in gas tariffs is not possible due to legal restrictions. According to the law 'On the moratorium on the increase of gas and heat prices', the cost cannot be changed during the state of emergency and for six months after its cancellation.
Thus, Ukrainians can remain calm about gas and electricity tariffs from April 1.
