Ukraine Returned the Bodies of 502 Fallen Defenders.


According to the information from the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the bodies of 502 fallen defenders have been successfully returned. 397 warriors were repatriated from the Donetsk direction, 24 from the Luhansk direction, 64 from the Zaporizhzhia direction, and 17 deceased from morgues in the territory of the Russian Federation.
The effective joint work of various structures has allowed for the return of the bodies of the defenders. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are transporting the repatriated bodies and remains to designated state institutions, where the identification of the deceased is carried out.
Earlier, on November 8, 563 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine. Additionally, according to reports, law enforcement is investigating more than 50 criminal cases regarding the murders of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
International partners have published new proposals regarding the quicker return of Ukrainians from Russian captivity.
