UEFA has punished Real Madrid players for their behavior after the match against Atletico.


The Ukrainian Football Association UEFA announced its decision regarding the offenders - Real Madrid players Kylian Mbappe, Antonio Rudiger, and Dani Ceballos, after the match against Atletico. This was reported by 'Glavkom'.
Antonio Rudiger received a fine of €40,000, Kylian Mbappe - €30,000. Both players also received a conditional one-match suspension, which will take effect if their unsportsmanlike behavior occurs again within a year.
Dani Ceballos was fined €20,000.
It is also worth noting that initially, the discipline inspector investigated the behavior of Real forward Vinicius Junior, but no disciplinary action was taken against him.
The Madrid derby took place on March 12. Atletico won in regular Time (1:0), but lost in the penalty shootout (2:4) and was eliminated from the tournament.
After the match, Rudiger, Mbappe, Ceballos, and Junior celebrated the victory in front of Atletico fans, which was perceived as a provocation. Therefore, the Madrid club filed a complaint with UEFA.
The quarter-finals of the Champions League were played.
In the 1/4 finals, the teams of Ukrainians Andriy Lunin (Real) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (Arsenal) advanced. Zinchenko himself scored a fantastic goal from outside the penalty area.
Andriy Lunin did not participate in the match, but his Real won the Madrid derby, which turned into a simplified duel, against Atletico in the penalty shootout.

The first four participants in the Champions League quarter-finals have also been determined.

Barcelona - Benfica 3:1 (on aggregate 4:1)

Barcelona started the game more actively, and by the 11th minute, Rafinha opened the scoring. Benfica quickly equalized - Otamendi scored with a header in the 13th minute.
In the 27th minute, Yamal scored with a beautiful long-range shot. Before the break, Rafinha scored again, making the score 3:1.
In the second half, Barcelona managed to maintain the lead and became the first quarter-finalist of the Champions League.
Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin played the entire match for Benfica. He saved his team several times but could not help them continue their fight in the tournament.
Bayer - Bayern 0:2 (on aggregate 0:5)

The German confrontation was decided in the first match. In the return match, Bayern was again the stronger team. Goals from Kane and Davis in the second half secured the victory for the Munich club.
Liverpool - PSG 0:1 (on aggregate 1:1), on penalties - 1:4

Already in the 12th minute, Dembele equalized the overall score. PSG had the advantage again, just like in the first match, but failed to score for the second time. Kwanza could have given Liverpool a ticket to the 1/4 finals in the 79th minute, but hit the crossbar with a header.
The fate of the confrontation was decided in the penalty shootout. The hero was PSG goalkeeper Donnarumma, who made two saved shots.
Inter - Feyenoord 2:1 (on aggregate 4:1)
Goals: Thuram (8), Calhanoglu (51) - Moder (42)
Inter managed to maintain their advantage and became the only Italian club to reach the 1/4 finals of the Champions League.
