After the explosion, the commander involved in the mass deaths of people in the village of Groza died in Russia.


The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense reported that the war criminal, Captain Konstantin Nagayko, who was involved in the murder of civilians in the village of Groza in the Kharkiv region, has died.
«The war criminal, Captain Konstantin Nagayko, commanded a battery of the 112th Missile Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and participated in ballistic missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine, including in the village of Groza, where 59 Ukrainian civilians were killed. He has died,» the Ministry of Defense reported.
Captain Nagayko sustained numerous injuries on January 3, 2025, as a result of an explosion in the settlement of Shuya in the Ivanovo region during his service.
«Even Russian surgical operations could not save the war criminal. We remind you that for every war crime against the Ukrainian people, there will be just punishment!», the intelligence emphasized.
Captain Nagayko was born on November 6, 1995, in the city of Svobodny, Amur region of Russia. He graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation and the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy.
He participated in the full-scale war against Ukraine and attacked civil and military facilities in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions with Iskander ballistic missiles.
On October 5, 2023, Russians attacked a cafe-store in the village of Groza in the Kupiansk district. A memorial lunch was being held during the attack.
The village of Groza suffered the most from the strike in the Kharkiv region since the beginning of the invasion of terrorists. Approximately 15% of the residents died.
Search operations for bodies in the village of Groza in the Kupiansk district have been completed. The police identified 35 dead. As a result of the Iskander strike, 51 people were killed, including an 8-year-old boy. Three people went missing, and six injured individuals are in the hospital. According to the spokesperson for the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, the attack on Groza was likely carried out by occupiers confident that Ukrainian military personnel were present there.
The Security Service has identified two traitors who managed the missile strike on the cafe in the village of Groza in the Kharkiv region on October 5.
