Explosions Erupted in Russian Kursk
During the night of August 2, explosions erupted in the Russian city of Kursk, and air defense forces were active in the region. This was reported by local public pages and the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexei Smirnov.
Local public pages are spreading reports of loud explosions in various parts of the city throughout the night. The explosions occurred as a result of a drone attack.

Local authorities initially reported the threat of missile strikes on the night of August 2, and later there was a report of the danger of UAV attacks in the Kursk region.
There is currently no information on possible consequences, damage to objects, or casualties.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of August 2, explosions erupted in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Explosions were heard in Saky, Yevpatoria, Balaklava, Sevastopol, and Simferopol.
The occupying authorities stated that according to preliminary information, four aerial targets were shot down over Sevastopol. The so-called governor of the city, Razvozhayev, claims that debris from the downed missiles damaged power lines, and some of the debris landed in the yards of private homes.
Recall that on the night of July 31, a fire broke out at one of the sites in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation as a result of a drone attack.
