China claims to have found deep-sea spying devices.

China discovered spying devices in the ocean
The Ministry of State Security of China reported that they discovered spying devices both on the ocean's surface and in its depths.
According to the ministry, these devices, hidden on the ocean floor, transmitted information that could "preemptively create a battlefield." Among them are underwater "beacons" that could direct foreign submarines.
"Some act as "secret agents," drifting and floating along with the waves, in real-Time monitoring the situation in our territorial waters. Some function as underwater "beacons," pointing the direction for foreign submarines that have breached our waters," - stated the ministry.
According to analysts, the submarine arms race is gaining strength between China, the United States, and their allies. China intends to acquire a new generation of nuclear submarines, which will be ready for operation by the end of the decade.
"Faced with a serious and complex secret struggle for security in the deep sea and the real threat from foreign espionage and intelligence agencies... (the ministry) will firmly defend China's sovereignty, security, and development interests and promote the building of a strong maritime nation," added the statement.
