The titled Russian skier Korostelyov supported the war against Ukraine.


Russian skier Savely Korostelyov, who has been a two-Time world champion among juniors, expressed his support for the Russian war against Ukraine. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referring to the Base of Ukrainian sports.
It is noted that Korostelyov liked several posts on Instagram featuring Putin and Russian military personnel.
The skier also liked posts supporting Putin made by Russian skier Veronika Stepanova.
Savely Korostelyov is a 21-year-old Russian skier who has won two titles as a world champion among juniors, and has been a winner and medalist in the stages of the Russian Cup. He is also a Master of Sports of Russia and the son of the famous Russian skier Natalia Korosteleva, who was an Olympic Games medalist.
Additionally, Korostelyov is a two-time champion of Russia in 2024.
Other Russian athletes Ivan Bukin and Alexandra Stepanova, who wish to participate in the Olympics, have also shown their support for the popular propagandist Shaman.
Bukin is subscribed to Shaman's page on Instagram, while Stepanova liked and commented on his posts.
It is important to note that support for Russian aggression has led to Shaman being included in the sanction lists of Ukraine, Canada, and the EU.
Ivan Bukin and Alexandra Stepanova are the vice-champions of Europe in 2019 and 2022, as well as bronze medalists at European championships. They have also performed well in international competitions and at Russian championships.
The International Olympic Committee has expressed a desire to allow Russian athletes to participate in the 2026 Olympics, which will take place in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo (Italy).
