The head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Oleg Grygoryev, signed an order for the mandatory evacuation of residents from 11 more settlements in the Sumy region. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

It is stated that this decision was made in light of the constant threat to the lives of the civilian population due to shelling of border communities.

List of settlements for evacuation

• Horobivka (Richkivska rural community);
• Shtanivka, Voronivka, Yanchens (Bilopillia city community);
• Tsymbalyivka, Shkuratovka (Vorozhbyanka city community);
• Krovne, Mykolaivka, Rudnivka, Spaske, Kapitaniivka (Mykolaivska rural community).

“We urge residents not to delay the decision on evacuation. Staying in a zone of constant danger is a direct threat to your life and health,” the message says.

As of today, 213 settlements in the Sumy region are subject to mandatory evacuation.

It should be noted that Russia has gathered enough forces to begin an offensive in Sumy region.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier stated that the occupiers are currently accumulating their forces in the Sumy direction. According to him, over 50 thousand Russians have already been deployed to this area.
