How long can a soldier receive payments during treatment: lawyer's explanation.


The founder of the NGO 'Lawyers for Soldiers', Yevheniya Ryabeka, reported that wounded soldiers continue to receive financial support and additional bonuses during treatment. According to the law, after the treatment is completed, an examination of the soldiers is conducted to determine their fitness for service. During this examination, the necessity of further treatment or the fitness for service is assessed. If a soldier is deemed unfit for service, he is discharged from military registration. If he requires further treatment, the sick leave is continued.
More than 70% of the wounded return to the frontline
According to the commander of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anatoliy Kazmirchuk, more than 70% of wounded soldiers return to the frontline after treatment. This is significant because these servicemen can share their experience with their comrades.
It is also worth noting that two veterans, Anastasia and Oleksiy, got married in Kyiv. They met during rehabilitation at the specialized clinic for prosthetics and reconstruction, Superhumans.
