Our base sheltered more than one paramedic and soldier, it was a haven for displaced persons, for all victims of the war, and even for injured animals, there was room in our shared home. Despite the loss, the battalion's founder stated that this blow would not stop their activities. She announced a fundraising campaign for 20 million hryvnias to create a new base.

As a reminder, as a result of the Russian combined strike on the capital on the night of April 24, at least 12 people were killed. There are families where several people died. One such family is that of Daria and Yana. Daria was in another apartment at night. In Svyatoshyn, her mother, father, and 17-year-old brother Danilo were killed, while her 14-year-old sister survived.
