Rheinmetall ready to arm peacekeepers in Ukraine.


The German defense concern Rheinmetall has announced its readiness to participate in organizing a peacekeeping mission after the Russia-Ukraine war. This is reported by Deutsche Welle, citing the company's head, Armin Papperger.
Although discussions about peacekeeping missions have not yet taken place, Rheinmetall can offer more than 2000 types of weapons and equipment for these missions.
'Specific discussions have not yet been held,' Papperger emphasized.
Earlier, the United Kingdom, France, Denmark, and Sweden expressed their willingness to send peacekeepers to Ukraine. The United States is also negotiating the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Papperger cited the example of the supply of a German tank brigade to Lithuania, which is planned to be deployed by 2027. In addition, Rheinmetall is a leading manufacturer of military trucks and has experience in developing reconnaissance drones and satellites.
