Temperature will rise to +20 degrees. Europe is in for a temperature shock.

Warming in Europe: Germany and Czech Republic are expecting a drastic change in temperature regime
This week, some countries in Europe will experience a sudden warming, meteorologists report, particularly in Germany and the Czech Republic. According to the publication 420on.cz, the frost will last until Wednesday, when the temperature will drop to -15°C. On Thursday, the temperature will rise sharply to +15°C, and on Friday it may even reach +18°C in western Germany. Over the weekend, double-digit temperature readings are expected across Germany, with maximum values of +19°C or slightly below +20°C in the southwest.
“An increase in temperature of more than 30 degrees in a few days is extreme and creates a strain on the body,” emphasized meteorologist Dominik Jung from the wetter.net website.
In the Czech Republic, spring temperatures are expected only over the weekend. On Thursday, a temperature of around +5°C is forecasted. “There will be warming on Thursday, but it will not be as drastic as in Germany,” noted meteorologist Dagmar Gonsova.
It is hoped that spring temperatures will arrive over the weekend - 12°C on Sunday, followed by a rise to +15°C on Tuesday next week. “In recent years, winter has ended with extremes,” Gonsova concluded.
Meteorologists also warn of the deterioration of dispersion conditions and an increase in pollution levels. In Poland, these indicators have already exceeded dangerous values, reaching 200 micrograms per cubic meter, which is four times above the European limit. In the Czech Republic, adverse conditions are observed in the Moravian-Silesian region. On Tuesday morning, most stations in this region exceeded the allowable level of airborne dust, which is 50 micrograms per cubic meter.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian forecasters predict light snow in some cities on Wednesday, February 19.
Moreover, severe weather conditions continue in the Carpathians, where nighttime temperatures have dropped to -30°C, reports the Chernivtsi border guard unit.
