Every day at 9 a.m. Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Ivan Kucheryuk.

Senior soldier Ivan Kucheryuk was killed in the battles for Ukraine while fulfilling his military duty. The war cut short his life on February 11, 2025, in the Sumy region. This is reported by the Novouhychtska territorial community.

Ivan Ivanovich Kucheryuk was born on March 18, 1981, in the town of Komunar (Zahrodskoye) in the Khmelnytskyi region. He studied at Novouhychtska secondary school I-III levels No. 1 and the Novouhychtskyi agricultural mechanization technical school, where he obtained the profession of a mechanic.

The man worked at the private enterprise 'Mriya Zabudovnyka' and lived in Khmelnytskyi for the last few years.

After mobilization in March 2023, Ivan Kucheryuk served in the military as an inspector of the Border Guard Service of the 15th Border Detachment.

The warrior was killed on February 11, 2025, while fulfilling his military duty in the Sumy region.

Defender Ivan Kucheryuk found eternal rest in the cemetery of the village of Zahrodskoye.

The hero is survived by his wife, daughters, and brother.
