Occupants intensify pressure on the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Toretsk – DeepState.

Russian troops are putting more pressure on the Ukrainian defense in Toretsk
According to DeepState, Russian troops have been strengthening their presence in Toretsk since the beginning of the offensive. The situation in the city remains unstable, and the front line is constantly changing. There has been a rotation in the Russian army, and new units have appeared, including the 150th motorized rifle division.
No counter-offensive has taken place in Toretsk; the line of combat engagement in the city is not static, so in one part there is more control by the enemy, and in another, by the Defense Forces. Many positions have not changed on either side. The latest changes occurred based on who destroyed whose position. The line of combat engagement remains very dynamic and chaotic.
Russian troops also destroyed the 'Central' mine, complicating the defense for the Ukrainian defenders. Furthermore, they continue to advance in the Burlyatsky area.
According to The New York Times, one of the reasons Ukrainian forces had to leave positions in the Kursk region of Russia was the destruction of bridges. The Russians planted explosives on the bridges to cut off the Ukrainians' retreat. After an airstrike, one of the bridges was completely destroyed.
Ukrainian defenders also note the influence of North Korean troops on the combat situation. After their regrouping in January and return in February, they have shown better combat skills.
Moreover, the change in President Zelensky’s policy with President Trump has led to an increase in the number of American veterans and volunteers who have joined the Ukrainian army. Many of them decided to participate in the fight not only due to outrage over U.S. policies but also in support of Ukraine in its stand against the Russian occupants.
