Occupants Modernize KABs: Analysts Named Strategic Advantages.

The Russian Federation is using new guided bombs with extended range in the northeast of Ukraine. These bombs were deployed in shelling in Kharkiv and Sumy regions. This information was reported by the Defense Express portal on the 'Glavkom' website.
The strike on Kharkiv and Sumy regions was one of the first cases of using unified planning and adjustment modules with enhanced range (UMPK-PD).
Russia has increased the effectiveness of its aviation by upgrading the UMPK-PD correction system, which is now capable of striking at distances of up to 95 km. This reduces risks for pilots and enhances strike accuracy.
Risks and Compensation Measures
However, employing airstrikes at great distances increases the risks for Russian aircraft to become targets of Ukrainian electronic warfare systems. Therefore, Russia is enhancing navigation modules on aircraft to complicate the opponent's tasks.
'Russia is trying to reduce risks by equipping its aircraft with eight to twelve satellite antennas of the 'Kometa-M' type, which makes targeting more complicated,' analysts note.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to enhance readiness for such situations and improve techniques to ensure the country's protection. Recently, Ukrainian manufacturers have also successfully tested their guided bombs.
Summary
Russia actively uses new guided bombs with an extended range on Ukrainian territory, posing a threat to the Ukrainian side. In response, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are increasing readiness and working on improving aviation technology for the country's defense.
The use of new guided bombs with extended range by Russia is under increased control of Ukrainian troops and monitoring of Russia's reaction to preventive measures. The Ukrainian army is striving to enhance its readiness and effectiveness in defending against such threats.Read also
