Occupants are preparing a prolonged offensive operation – National Guard Major.

The Russian army is preparing a long-term offensive operation in Donbas
The intensity of fighting on the front has decreased, but this is not due to the exhaustion of the Russian army, but because of Moscow's preparations for a long-term offensive operation. This was stated by analyst and veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, reserve Major of the National Guard Oleksii Hetman.
According to him, the Russians plan to start the offensive at the end of March or the beginning of April, and the operation may last up to nine months. Thus, it could stretch throughout 2025.
Hetman emphasized that the enemy is preparing its troops for the offensive operation, particularly those units that have suffered heavy losses. The enemy also seeks to accumulate equipment and bring it to combat readiness.
«To believe that we hit them so hard that they are incapable of continuing combat operations would be a very optimistic view. They still have more than half a million people on the front line,» the expert said.
It has been a total of 1081 days of war. During this Time, the Russians have carried out 90 airstrikes, using 149 KABs. They also used 961 kamikaze drones and conducted over four thousand shellings of our positions and populated areas.
Over the course of the day, there were 116 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders continue to effectively repel enemy attacks along the entire front line and inflict heavy losses on them.
