The winner of the show 'Everybody Dance' died in the war.


Participant and winner of the show 'Everybody Dance' Volodymyr Rakov died in the war. This information was made public by choreographer Olena Holovanj.
“Eternal memory to the Hero, Rakov Volodymyr Mykolaiovych. 24.11.1994-06.01.2025. The best leave this world,” – wrote Holovanj.
Volodymyr's death was also reported by the project manager on STB channel Tala Prystaiecka.
“Vova... how?!!! You were supposed to be gathering applause for your undeniable talent. Incredible plasticity. You should have been deafened by applause, not by... Vova Rakov, I am proud to have known you. I will cherish the memory. Honor to the fallen warrior. Honor to a wonderful person,” – wrote Prystaiecka.
Olya Freimut also made a touching post, admitting that she loved Volodymyr and admired his talent.
“You danced – and I was amazed by your dances. There has never been anyone like you on this earth, sometimes I suspected you of being divine. We were supposed to be a couple on 'Dancing with the Stars', if not for one jerk from 1+1... Vova, you are an aesthetic. An angel. A legend. A hero. You gave your life for the freedom of Ukraine. Thank you,” – wrote Freimut.
Volodymyr Rakov joined the Armed Forces after the invasion. He served in the 2nd rifle battalion of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Daniel.
Volodymyr Rakov was born on November 24, 1995, in Crimea. He started dancing from a young age and became widely known after participating in the show 'Everybody Dance'. After winning the show, he continued to dance and worked as an assistant choreographer on 'Dancing with the Stars'. Volodymyr was also an actor at the Vasyl Kozar Kozar Dance Theatre. He participated in shoots for advertisements of global brands and in music videos of famous Ukrainian artists.
