The Ministry of Energy has approved repair schedules for energy facilities to avoid capacity shortages.

Repair Plans for Energy Facilities for 2025
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has approved the schedules for planned repairs for the next year. Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk reported that these schedules have been developed to avoid capacity shortages in the energy system.
'These schedules are designed to minimize any potential capacity shortages and to ensure that the needs of consumption can always be covered. The state controls strict compliance with these repair schedules by all energy companies. All necessary measures are being taken to prevent shortages during periods of heat and weather fluctuations'- emphasized Kolisnyk.
According to him, the Anti-Crisis Energy Headquarters coordinates all preparatory measures, and the planned actions are being completed in full. Special attention is being paid to restoring generation to ensure additional capacities in the energy system.
Energy Supply Stability
According to Mykola Kolisnyk, the energy supply situation in the country is currently stable, and electricity restrictions are not anticipated. However, he emphasized the importance of rational use of electricity and a responsible approach to this issue. The only threat to stable energy supply remains shelling from the Russian Federation.
Electricity Tariffs
The Deputy Minister of Energy explained that the electricity tariff for the population includes the costs of electricity production by the companies 'Energoatom' and 'Ukrhydroenergo', the cost of transmission and distribution of the resource, as well as compensation for the differences between the market price and the tariff for household consumers.
According to Mykola Kolisnyk, it is important to control electricity expenses and avoid unnecessary losses to maintain the stability of the energy supply system. The developed repair schedules are a step towards ensuring affordable and reliable electricity for all citizens of Ukraine.
