Kim Jong Un: Russia has the right to 'self-defense'
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un stated during a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Andrei Biyolousov that Russia has the right to 'self-defense' and to respond to attacks directed at its territory.
Kim Jong Un believes that Ukraine is using long-range weapons as a result of U.S. interference, and Russia has the right to defend itself. He claims that the U.S. and the West forced Kyiv to attack Russia, and therefore Russia should impose some cost on the 'hostile forces.'
Kim Jong Un also promised to strengthen ties with Russia in all areas, including military affairs, as part of the partnership established with Vladimir Putin in June.
