The 'Invalid' Scandal. Chmelnytskyi Prosecutor General dismissed, but 'smartly'.

Dismissal of the Chmelnytskyi Prosecutor General after the scandal over the issuance of disability certificates
In the evening of October 17, the Prosecutor General's Office announced the dismissal of Oleksiy Olijnyk as the head of the Chmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office. The Chmelnytskyi Prosecutor General lost his post after a scandal involving the mass issuance of disability certificates by his subordinates. It was reported that 50 prosecutors, including Olijnyk himself, were involved.
Normally, one is dismissed from an administrative position to temporarily hide the person during the scandal. The next step would be dismissal from the prosecutor's office, but this has not happened,' emphasizes a source from 'Glawkom'.
According to information from the prosecutor's circle, the decision to remove the Chmelnytskyi Prosecutor was made for convenience reasons. He was dismissed from his administrative position, so Olijnyk will continue to work in the prosecutor's office.
Prosecutor Olijnyk denied the accusations and stated that he has health problems and has been disabled long before his appointment to office. He also pointed out that many other prosecutor's office employees are disabled and the law does not prohibit working with a disability in the prosecutor's office.
It is worth remembering that a corruption scheme involving the issuance of disability certificates in the Chmelnytskyi region was uncovered. The head of the regional MSEC, Tetiana Krupa, who is currently under investigation, was also involved in this scandal.
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine has issued an order to conduct an official investigation into the issuance of disability certificates by 50 prosecutors of the Chmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office.
