Economic terrorism: Canadians outraged by the sale of certain products on Amazon.

A petition has been gathered in Canada demanding an end to the sale on Amazon of products that present Canada as the 51st state of the USA. The petition has already been signed by 70 thousand people, but the company has not responded to Canadian's demands. This was reported by the New York Post, citing Glavcom.
Canadians are outraged that Amazon sells various products with offensive slogans that label Canada as the 51st state of the USA. The online store offers caps, t-shirts, shirts, and stickers with phrases like: 'Make Canada great again' and 'Maple syrup and freedom - 51st state'. Canadians consider this an abhorrent and dangerous manifestation of 'economic terrorism'. Already 70 thousand people have signed a petition to stop the sale of such goods.
'For us, this is a threat to the autonomy and identity of Canadians. These products ignore and downplay the economic terrorism that Canada faces,' said Sue Williams-Dunn, a co-author of the petition from Ontario.
Amazon responded that they are aware of the complaints but do not see grounds for removing the products, as they do not violate the company's internal policies.
Let us remind you that many Canadians have reduced their purchases of American goods and ordering products from Amazon after offensive remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Canada and the introduction of new tariffs on imports.
