Shakhtar defeated Brest in the Champions League match
On Wednesday, January 22, in the match of the 7th round of the main stage of the Champions League 2024/25, Donetsk 'Shakhtar' overcame 'Brest' with a score of 2:0.
Both goals were scored by the Ukrainian team in the first half, with Kevin and Sudakov finding the net. This is the second victory of the 'miners' in the Champions League 2024/25. 'Shakhtar' is in 27th place in the standings with seven points.

The last group stage match of the Champions League for 'Shakhtar' will be held on January 29 against Dortmund's 'Borussia'.
This season, the Champions League is held in a new format. In the main round, which lasts from September to January, 36 clubs participate. Each team plays 8 matches against different ranked opponents.
The top 8 teams will directly advance to the round of 16, while the clubs that finish in places 9 to 24 will play for qualification in playoff matches.
