Denmark and Norway call for support for Ukraine in NATO and support Zelensky's 'Victory Plan'.


Denmark and Norway support Ukraine's 'Victory Plan' and its aspiration to join NATO. This was stated by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide. They noted that NATO membership is the most important insurance for Ukraine. However, not all Alliance countries support this idea, particularly the USA. Nevertheless, Mette Frederiksen emphasized the need for a peaceful end to the war between Ukraine and Russia and increased defense spending to ensure peace and security. Espen Barth Eide also supported the 'Victory Plan' and noted that Ukraine can make a significant contribution to the security of Europe thanks to its military resources and technologies. Both politicians emphasized the importance of providing Ukraine with reliable security guarantees. Additionally, Ukraine plans to conclude a security guarantee agreement with another country.
