Nikopol, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, became the site of shelling by Russia's allies. As a result of the attack by a rocket-artillery complex, a woman was killed, and her husband was injured. This information was provided by Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
The deceased woman was pulled from the rubble of a house that was destroyed by enemy shelling from multiple rocket launcher systems, Lysak reported. He also noted that the 45-year-old man, who was injured, received necessary medical assistance and will be treated on an outpatient basis.
As a result of the shelling, residential houses and outbuildings were destroyed, private homesteads and apartment buildings were damaged, as well as garages, cars, gas pipelines, and power lines.
Additionally, as a result of the shelling, two fires occurred, which were extinguished by rescuers, Lysak added.
An enemy shelling was also registered in Kherson, in which five people in a minibus were injured.
In the past day, 118 combat clashes were recorded.
