The Russian army has approached a critically important route in Donetsk.

The Russian occupying army has approached the route connecting Pokrovsk with Dnipro. This road is vital for supporting combat operations and humanitarian missions in Donbas, stated Mykola Dovbnya, a deputy of the Druzhkivka City Council.
According to him, the occupants are trying to surround Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, and Sloviansk from all sides. The situation at the front is extremely difficult, especially in Pokrovsk, where the enemy is trying to cut off the route to Dnipro. Already now, Russian special forces are infiltrating Pokrovsk, which poses a threat to the Defense Forces and humanitarian missions operating there, Dovbnya reported.
It has been noted that the road from Pokrovsk to Dnipro has a large capacity, and many people live in Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, and Druzhkivka. If the occupants resort to cutting off this road, Ukraine will have to seek other ways to supply fuel, food, and medicines. Also, many people, primarily in Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, and Sloviansk, have realized that in the event of an escalation, they will have to leave exclusively via the Kharkiv road, he added.
Additionally, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Muzhenko, revealed the Russians' plans regarding Pokrovsk. According to him, the occupants do not have the task of capturing the city but want to block it.
This situation requires the help of Kyiv's allies. To protect the critically important mine in Pokrovsk, allies must provide Ukraine with promised assistance, Bloomberg reports.
