A fighter named Oleksandr recounted that during one of the combat sorties he decided to act independently and stopped in silence. When he contacted his comrades via radio, he received a response from the occupier. The neighboring trench turned out to be a Russian soldier nicknamed 'Plotva'. He threw a grenade, but fighter Oleksandr managed to aim and open fire. After the explosion, he felt fire and darkness, but still escaped death.
